C Morris Newsagents joined the CSmart project in December 2010 and made a commitment to take action to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. The CSmart project is run by the Crichton Carbon Centre and aims to help rural organisations in Dumfries and Galloway become smart about carbon.

In early 2011, auditors from the Carbon Centre worked closely with us to develop and understand our carbon footprint. As a result of this work, several recommendations were suggested to help us to reduce the green house gas emissions we generate from operating our business. We have already begun to implement some of these actions and with time we hope to become even more CSmart.
